STRENGTHENING SECURITY TIES: NSCDC COMMANDANT GENERAL ENGAGES JIGAWA STATE LEADERSHIP

As part of his 2025 Operational Tour across the federation, the Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) paid a strategic visit to Jigawa State, where he was received in audience by the Executive Governor, His Excellency Malam Umar A. Namadi, at the Government House, Dutse.

The visit served as a vital platform for reinforcing institutional collaboration between the Corps and the Jigawa State Government. Governor Namadi, while welcoming the CG and his entourage, acknowledged the visible impact of the NSCDC’s presence in the state and praised the Corps for its proactive role in crime prevention, protection of critical infrastructure, and promotion of peaceful coexistence.

In his response, the Commandant General assured the governor of the Corps’ unflinching commitment to consolidating peace and order through enhanced operational deployment, strategic community policing initiatives, and continuous stakeholder engagement.

This engagement marks another milestone in the Commandant General’s mission to assess field operations, boost personnel morale, and strengthen the Corps’ operational footprint across all states of the federation.
