INTERNATIONAL CIVIL SERVICE CONFERENCE (ICSC) 2026
The Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Professor Ahmed Abubakar Audi, OFR, on Wednesday attended the International Civil Service Conference (ICSC) 2026 held in Abuja with the theme “Reforms, Resilience and Results.”
The conference brought together key government officials, policy makers and public service leaders to deliberate on strategies for institutional reforms, improved service delivery and enhanced governance in the public sector.
For the NSCDC, participation at the conference underscores the Corps’ commitment to aligning with ongoing reforms in the nation’s public service, particularly in areas of operational efficiency, technology-driven administration, inter-agency collaboration and effective protection of critical national assets and infrastructure.
The conference also provided an opportunity for the Corps to engage with stakeholders on emerging governance and security-focused policies aimed at strengthening national resilience and improving coordination among government institutions in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Federal Government.
The event was attended by Honourable Ministers, including the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, Heads of Extra-Ministerial Departments and the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack, while President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, was represented by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume.
