CP TIJANI FATAI ORDERS MASSIVE DEPLOYMENT, ASSURES SAFETY ACROSS THE STATE BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER THE EASTER CELEBRATION

In view of the forthcoming Easter celebration, the Lagos State Police Command has emplaced a comprehensive and proactive security architecture across the State to ensure a peaceful, safe, and hitch-free festivity before, during, and after the celebration.

The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Tijani Fatai, psc, mnips, has ordered adequate deployment of personnel and operational assets to strategic locations across the State. This includes worship centres, recreational facilities, major highways, transportation hubs, and other critical public infrastructure to guarantee maximum security coverage.

Special attention has also been given to the riverine areas, with the Marine Police strategically deployed for enhanced surveillance and patrol to prevent criminal activities and ensure safety within the waterways. In addition, adequate traffic management measures have been put in place in collaboration with relevant agencies to ensure the free flow of traffic across the State throughout the festive period.

The Commissioner of Police extends warm Easter greetings to all Christian faithful and enjoins residents to reflect on the virtues of love, sacrifice, and peaceful coexistence as exemplified by the season. While assuring residents of the Command’s unwavering commitment to the protection of lives and property. He was emphasizes the importance of community partnership in effective policing.
