PHOTONEWS: OGUN STATE POLICE COMMAND PRESENTS CHEQUES TO FAMILIES OF FALLEN HEROES AS PART OF POLICE WEEK ACTIVITIES

The Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Police Command, CP Bode Ojajuni, psc, MNIPR, FCSS, on behalf of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Tunji Disu, psc(+), NPM, presented cheques to the families of fallen heroes today, 2nd April 2026.

Marking Day 4 of Police Week, the gesture was aimed at honouring the sacrifices of officers who paid the ultimate price in the line of duty, while also providing financial support and reassurance to their bereaved families. A total sum of ₦30,552,851.16 was disbursed to the beneficiaries. The presentation underscores the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to the welfare of its personnel and the families they leave behind, reinforcing the enduring bond between the Force and its officers, both serving and fallen.
