POLICE STRENGTHENS SECURITY TO ENSURE A HITCH-FREE EID-EL-FITR CELEBRATION
The Ogun State Police Command has intensified and reinforced security arrangements across the State in advance of Eid-el-Fitr to guarantee a peaceful, secure, and hitch-free celebration. The Command places high priority on the protection of worship centres, critical infrastructure, and the safety of all residents before, during, and after the festive period.
In line with this proactive approach, the Command has deployed personnel and operational assets in advance to strategic locations across the State. Special attention has been given to Eid prayer grounds and other places of worship, as well as markets, highways, and major public spaces. These early deployments are reinforced with coordinated patrols, intelligence-led operations, and surveillance to deter criminal activities and ensure prompt response to any threat.
The Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Command, CP Lanre Ogunlowo, Ph.D, congratulates Muslim faithfuls in advance on the successful completion of Ramadan and extends best wishes for a peaceful and orderly Eid-el-Fitr celebration. He reassures residents of the Command’s firm commitment to maintaining law and order and safeguarding lives and property across the State.
