INCIDENT AT KEMTA: OGUN POLICE ORDER INVESTIGATION, REAFFIRM INTER-AGENCY COLLABORATION

The Ogun State Police Command is aware of the incident that occurred at Government Technical involving officers from Kemta Police Station, and wishes to inform the public that the matter is currently under investigation, having been referred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, while also emphasizing the strong inter-agency collaboration among all security agencies in the State, especially the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.

The Command will, in collaboration with the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, examine the circumstances surrounding the incident exhaustively to ensure due process is followed with a view to apply sanction as appropriate and avoid a repeat of such incident.

The Ogun State Police Command reassures members of the public that all security agencies operating within the State are maintaining cordial and collaborative working relationship in the interest of public safety, while the Command remains committed to professionalism, accountability, and the preservation of law and order.
