Nigeria’s Mining Marshals have stepped up their game in the fight against illegal mining and there’s no slowing down. 

In a recent surprise operation, the Marshals stormed a remote creek known for illegal mining. No warning. No escape. Equipment was seized, suspects were arrested, and the site was completely shut down. 

This is part of a renewed national effort to:

✅ Enforce mining laws

✅ Protect our environment

✅ Defend community livelihoods

✅ Safeguard Nigeria’s economic future

 “We will not rest until illegal mining is completely eradicated,” said one official.
