NSCDC, DEFENCE SPACE ADMINISTRATION STRENGTHEN TIES FOR ENHANCED NATIONAL SECURITY
The Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR, received the Chief of Defence Space Administration, Air Vice Marshal L.I. Oluwatoyin, at the NSCDC National Headquarters, Abuja, in a strategic courtesy visit aimed at fostering deeper inter-agency collaboration.
The high-level engagement centered on strengthening synergy among security agencies for improved intelligence sharing, operational coordination, and national security service delivery.
Dr. Audi reiterated that no single security agency possesses the exclusive strategy or capacity to address the complexities of asymmetric conflicts currently confronting the nation. He noted that such threats require collective effort, trust, and collaboration, which Nigeria’s security forces continue to uphold in their ongoing mission to degrade criminal elements and safeguard the nation.
Air Vice Marshal Oluwatoyin commended the Corps for its contributions to national security and emphasized the need for sustained cooperation between both agencies, particularly in the area of technology-driven security solutions and space-based intelligence.
The visit marks another step towards a united front in addressing Nigeria’s evolving security landscape.
