RRS Gives Account Of How A Journalist Jumped To Death In Lagos Lagoon

The official statement from the Rapid Response Squad, RRS, has given a graphic account of how a man who was later identified as a journalist jumped to death in Lagos lagoon.
According to the statement, the man who was a passenger in one of the commercial buses asked the driver to stop on the pretence that he wanted to ease himself on the Third Mainland bridge.
But in a twinkle of an eye, he leapt and jumped into the lagoon.
RRS riders on patrol got to the scene almost immediately and radioed for assistance from the Marine Police and LASEMA.
Marine police with the assistance of local divers have recovered the body.
His body has been taken to Ebute Ero Division
