 CP Bode Ojajuni Lauds Ogun Police Wives Association for Strengthening Officer Welfare




The Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Command, CP Bode Ojajuni, psc, FCSS, MNIPR, received members of the Police Officers’ Wives Association (POWA), Ogun State Chapter, led by the Acting Chairperson, Mrs. Bolanle Adeoye, on a courtesy visit at the Command Headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta.


Speaking during the visit, the Acting Chairperson, Mrs. Bolanle Adeoye, commended the Commissioner of Police for his exemplary leadership, professionalism, and sustained commitment to the welfare of officers and their families. She noted that POWA remains committed to strengthening family support systems, promoting unity, and complementing the efforts of the Nigeria Police Force in enhancing the well-being of personnel.


She further appreciated the Commissioner for fostering a conducive environment that supports discipline, stability, and effective policing operations, while assuring continued collaboration with the Command in advancing welfare-oriented initiatives.


In his response, CP Bode Ojajuni welcomed the delegation and appreciated POWA for its unwavering support and critical role in sustaining the morale and welfare of police families. He described the association as a vital pillar in strengthening the emotional and social stability of officers, particularly those engaged in demanding operational duties.


The Commissioner commended POWA for its consistent contributions to community development and welfare support, noting that such initiatives complement the efforts of the Command in building a more resilient and motivated Police workforce.


He reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to continued partnership with the association and encouraged them to sustain programmes that promote unity, welfare enhancement, and empowerment within Police families.


CP Ojajuni further assured that the Command remains committed to prioritizing officers’ welfare and maintaining strong engagement with stakeholders to enhance operational effectiveness and internal cohesion across the State.


Also speaking during the engagement, members of the Command’s management team commended POWA for its continuous support and urged the association to sustain its efforts in promoting family stability, welfare advancement, and positive values within the Police community.
