CG NSCDC HOSTS ALUMNI OF NISS, PLEDGES MORE EFFORTS TOWARD NATIONAL SECURITY

The Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Professor Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR, has reaffirmed the Corps’ commitment to strengthening national security while hosting the Executive Council of the Alumni Association of the National Institute for Security Studies (NISS) at the NSCDC National Headquarters, Abuja.

The 11-member delegation led by its President, Mike Ejiofor, fsi, paid a courtesy visit to congratulate the Commandant General on his reappointment and to formally invite him as Special Guest to the association’s Annual Lecture.

Professor Audi commended the association for its initiative focused on election-related security, describing the theme as timely, and reiterated the Corps’ readiness to continue working with critical stakeholders to enhance the protection of lives, property, and critical national assets.

Barrister Ejiofor noted that the visit was also to strengthen collaboration with the Corps, recognizing the vital role of the NSCDC in election security and national stability.
