MINISTRY OF DEFENCE AND MINISTRY OF INTERIOR STRENGTHEN STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP FOR NATIONAL SECURITY

Today, the Honourable Minister of Defence, General CG Musa (Rtd) OFR, paid a courtesy visit to the Honourable Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, to strengthen collaboration between Nigeria’s defence and internal security agencies.

The visit highlights the importance of a unified approach in safeguarding the nation’s borders while ensuring internal stability and public safety.

The meeting, attended by the Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Prof. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR, and other Heads of Agencies under the Ministry of Interior Nigeria , focused on enhancing coordination, intelligence sharing, and operational synergy for a secure and resilient Nigeria.

This strategic partnership reflects the Renewed Hope Agenda of His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, and underscores that when territorial defence and internal security work hand in hand, the nation stands unshaken.
