HEALTHY WORKFORCE KEY TO RESILIENCE AND PRODUCTIVITY – NSCDC BOSS REAFFIRMS AT SPORTS COMPETITION CLOSING

The Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Professor Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR, has reaffirmed that a healthy and active workforce is critical to building a resilient, productive, and united organisation.

He made this known during the closing ceremony of the 2nd edition of the NSCDC Inter-Directorate Sports Competition held at the National Headquarters, Abuja.

Represented by the Assistant Commandant General (ACG) in charge of Administration, ACG Farouk Boyi, CPP, the CG described the sporting event as a strategic initiative aimed at promoting physical fitness, mental alertness, and esprit de corps among personnel.

“The impressive level of participation and display of sportsmanship throughout the competition reflects our collective commitment to building a robust and efficient workforce,” he stated.

He congratulated all directorates for their zeal, discipline, and unity throughout the games, and expressed appreciation to the sponsor, Alhaji Ahmed Kabiru of AL-Simba-Home, for his continuous support, as well as the organisers for their dedication in sustaining the vision.

With the theme, “Fostering Unity, Physical and Mental Well-being for an Efficient Workforce,” the competition brought personnel together in a spirit of friendly competition and mutual respect.

Medals and awards were presented to deserving teams and individuals in recognition of their performance and dedication. The CG urged all officers to uphold the values of teamwork, perseverance, and excellence promoted during the games.

“As we return to our respective duties, may we not lose the spirit of unity, vitality, and focus that this competition has ignited within us,” he added.
