NSCDC Female Squad Trains Over 2,000 New Nigerian Army Recruits on Inter-Agency Collaboration

ABUJA— The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, has deepened its partnership with the Nigerian Army following a sensitization lecture delivered to newly recruited female personnel at their passing-out event on *August 31, 2026*.

In line with inter-agency collaboration and capacity building, the NSCDC Female Squad Commander was invited by the Nigerian Army to address the new female soldiers.

Over *2,000 female recruits* attended the ceremony and lecture. For one hour, the Female Squad Commander spoke on _“The Roles of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Military Operations.”_

Key areas covered during the session included:

According to officials present, the session was highly interactive. The recruits were attentive and engaged, asking several intelligent questions on NSCDC operations and how the Corps supports military operations. The atmosphere was described as cordial, with participants expressing excitement about the collaboration.

The lecture was well received and achieved its objective of sensitizing the new female soldiers on the NSCDC’s mandate and the need for synergy in securing the nation.

NSCDC officials noted that the engagement has further strengthened the working relationship between the Corps and the Nigerian Army.

“The NHQ Female Squad remains committed to projecting the image of the Corps and ensuring NSCDC is well represented on all inter-agency platforms,” the report concluded.
