NSCDC Busts Badagry House of Horror: 4 Arrested, 24 Victims Rescued

In line with the directive of the Commandant General, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ), Prof., Ahmed Abubakar Audi, PhD., mni, OFR, to all Heads of formations across the country to consistently make use of credible and actionable intelligence, strengthen inter - agency collaboration to eliminate persistent security threats, the Lagos State Command has successfully made another major operational milestone in Itoga, Badagry.

The Lagos State Commandant , Mr Adedotun Keshinro , fnarc attributed the recent operational breakthroughs in the state to effective and efficient timely community engagements with relevant stakeholders in the state.

He further said that the Badagry operatives of the NSCDC, Lagos State Command, acting upon credible and actionable intelligence, yesterday, Thursday, 4th June , 2026 at about 1400hrs have arrested the kingpin and three ( 3 ) other suspected illegal foreign nationals of the Republic of Togo, Benin and Ghana linked to missing persons found with them at various black spots and hideouts in Itoga, Badagry.

The operatives also rescued twenty four ( 24 ) victims; eighteen (18) male and six ( 6 ) female including a toddler ( Togolese , Benenoise and an Imo State indigene ) suspected to have been lured into enemy camps through inducements and all forms of deceitful acts inflicted on them by their captors .

Preliminary investigation has revealed that some victims have been declared missing for about three ( 3 ) years , nine ( 9 ) and three ( 3 ) months by their family members in their neighborhoods not knowing that they have been held down by these evil perpetrators in their illegal camps .

It was also revealed that the suspects used to forcefully ask their victims to fabricate lies via telephone calls to their families that they were kidnapped , abducted or sometimes pretend as victims of accidents in a bid to obtain illicit money or ransomes from their unsuspecting family members .

The perpetrators of this act of inhumanity to man also compel their victims to commit fraudulent activities , trade hard drugs and induce some other unsuspecting victims .

After all conventional efforts by some of the families of these victims to find their whereabouts proved abortive , they resorted to traditional methods of sacrificing to shrines and rivers to appease the gods and goddesses , which they accounted for parts of the reason they were lucky eventually to get the syndicates arrested by the Corps' operatives .

The Lagos State Commandant has called on the general public to come forward to identify any of the victims , who may be part of the relatives they have been looking for .

The Lagos State Commandant has immediately directed that after investigation is concluded the suspects will be prosecuted before a competent court of jurisdiction and made to face the wrath of the law to serve as deterrence for other unrepentant criminals in the state .
