Democracy Day: NHQ Female Strike force Join Other Agency to Beef Up Security at the National Assembly Complex.

The NSCDC Female Strike Force arrived the National assembly complex at about 0600hrs and was deployed to the entrance gate in collaboration with other security agencies, to reinforce security for the safety of the president visit to the National Assembly.

 President Tinubu cancelled his plan to make a nationwide broadcast commemorating the anniversary of Democracy Day and opted to deliver his address directly from the federal legislature.

President Bola Tinubu addressed a joint session of the Senate and the House of Representatives to mark the nation’s Democracy Day.

The session begins at noon and was held at the House chamber.

Other security agencies present included the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), and the Fct personnel.

The event was hitch free and ended around 1400hrs, and the NSCDC Female Strike Force returned safely to base.
