Killing Of Lagos NURTW Chieftain, Police Make Another Breakthrough, Recover Murder Weapon In Ibadan, Oyo State

The arrest of the serial killer in South West Adeola Williams alias Ade Lawyer has led to the recovery of the murder weapon used for the dastardly act.

The AK47 rifle used for the killing of one Ganiyu Ayinla Personal Assistant to one Azeez Adekunle Lawal in Lagos Island on 23rd January, 2018 was recovered in Ibadan the Oyo State Capital.

Assassin’s gangleader Ade Lawyer led IRT Operatives to a house in Ehin Grammar School area in Ibadan where the AK47 rifle with serial number 3501357 and 2 Magazines he used for all his assassinations was recovered. 

In his confession Ade Lawyer confessed to numerous killings in Lagos, among them was the killing of a prominent member of NURTW in Oshodi “Hamburger.”

He also told the police that he could recollect killing no fewer than 10 members of NURTW in Lagos.

So far he had mentioned a former Chairman of NURTW in Lagos Alhaji Akanni Olohunwa as a sponsor of the attempt in the life of a rival on Lagos Mainland “Kunle Poly.”

Although he denied any involvement in the plot, the police had paraded Olohunwa for his alleged participation.

A prominent high chief in Lagos (name withheld) was also mentioned by “Ade Lawyer” as one of the big guns he carried out assassinations for.

Police declared that they are intensifying efforts to arrest other members of the gang still at large
