These two men; Halilu Adamu (left) and Bala Garba (right)
were caught by Rangers yesterday at the Yankari National Park - a large
wildlife park located in Bauchi State. According to the Management of
the Reserve, they killed and slaughtered a female roan antelope and are
notorious elephant poachers. Garba (right) was arrested in May 2015
for a similar crime and was sentenced to 6 months in jail, but he
however returned back to the reserve this year to continue the illegal
killing.
