The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has organised a four-day training on Corruption Risk Assessment, (CRA,) and Corruption Risk Management, (CRM)  at the EFCC Academy Karu, Abuja.


The training  held between July 20- 23 ,  2020 for EFCC officers and participants drawn from the Federal Ministry of Environment, Nigeria Customs Service, National Parks Services and the National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agencies, NESREA.

The course was aimed at teaching officers how to conduct corruption risk assessment and how to manage the risks.

The training had facilitators from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crimes, UNODC, Nigeria and Vienna office.

The course was delivered via the internet and addressed issues including "Prioritization of risks,  Cause identification and Mitigation Measures."

One of the highlights of the training was an overview of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, ACFE and Fraud Risk Assessment by a consultant from Rablowoods Counter Fraud Learning Centre.
