Robbers Have Devise A New Way Of Robbing The Public, Now Operates As Tricycle Drivers.

Criminals have devise a new way of robbing the public, now operate as tricycle drivers, popularly called ‘Keke maruwa’, to rob their victims.
According to Police recent revelation, this new gang of robbers who pretend to operate as genuine ‘Keke maruwa’ transport operators and when people board their tricycle’, they take them to isolated place and rob them.
Parading three members of such gang at the police command headquarter, Ikeja, Lagos. The State Police Command boss, Mr. Edgal Imohimi, said the gang usually operates along Ebute- Ero, Lagos Island and Apapa axis of the state.
CP Edgal who exhibited some of the items recovered from the suspects as, one tricycle with registration number BDG 318 AE, Huawie and Itel Android phones, said the suspects would be arraigned before a competent court after investigations.
The three suspects including a woman, are Monsuru Tiamiyu, 21 years old, Jamiu Hammed, 20-years-old and 40-years-old Queen Victor.
In a related development, the Police in Lagos also nabbed a two-man gang of robbers that specializes in breaking into people’s cars by means of a chemical agent with which they pour on the window glass or windscreens to gain access into the car.
The suspects are Kazeem Akolade and Teslem Abiodun, in whose hands; the police also recovered eight Laptops computer.
