A criminal camp was destroyed at Omuigwe in Etche Local Government Area where a secondary school girl was rescued after fourteen days in captivity.
The Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of the IGP Monitoring Unit, Benneth Igwe, said his men also arrested one Gift Nnodim and recovered one English-made Double barrel gun during the operation.
A.C.P Igwe told newsmen that the kidnapped victim who was found to be the daughter of a traditional ruler, was abducted by one Togo, who is still in hiding.
The senior police officer also complained that some traditional rulers in Rivers State were making it difficult for his team to tackle criminals because of protection they get from the bad boys.
