Police arraign killers of Jumia agent in court today
Sequel to the conclusion of investigation on the murder of Jumia delivery agent in Port Harcourt by the Rivers State Police Command, the suspects will to be arraigned in court today.
The three suspects who gruesomely murdered the late Eleje Chukwuma, on Saturday March 25, will be facing a three-count charge bordering on conspiracy, armed robbery and murder.
It would be recalled that the suspects identified as Sodineye Mbatumukeke, Excel Divine Naaba and Joy Eluwa (female) robbed, murdered and dumped the corpse of the Jumia agent in a septic tank at Location, off Ada-George Road in Port Harcourt.
During police investigation, it was revealed that the victim had gone to the house of the suspects to deliver two phones and a motorcycle that were ordered via online.
However, the state Commissioner of Police, Zaki Ahmed who disclosed the court proceedings to newsmen, reiterate the command’s readiness to prevent and detect crime and prosecute offenders.
Ahmed urged the public to partner with and support the Police by providing useful and credible information that will aid policing in the state.- The Authority
