EFCC raids Adoke's Kano residence

The Kano resi­dence of the immediate-past Minister of Justice and Attorney-Gen­eral of the Federa­tion, Mr. Muhammad Bello Adoke was on Tuesday searched by operatives of the Eco­nomic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The AUTHORITY gathered from reliable sources that armed EFCC operatives ar­rived number 3 Alu Avenue located in the Government Re­served Area of Kano city at about 12 noon.
“The operation lasted for two hours. The wife of the for­mer Minister left few hours before they arrived. They force­fully broke into the residence. They asked the guards some ques­tions, ransacked the house and left without arresting anyone.”
The Source who spoke to The AU­THORITY on con­dition of anonym­ity could not confirm whether the opera­tives left the house with cash or docu­ments.
The source also added that no arrest was made during the two-hour intensive operation.
However, efforts made to contact EFCC Media Officer in Kano Zone, Mr. Idris Nadabo was not successful.
