According a source who sought anonymity, “the arrested students dressed in Army camouflage and they were beating a 100 Level Political Science student of the university identified as Dubre Jason, at Abraka.
He said, “Owing to the camouflage and military boots they wore, the Army was alerted that their colleagues were brutalizing a student. On getting to the scene of the incident, it was discovered the assailants are not soldiers but students of a maritime academy in the area hence they were subsequently arrested.
They were arrested after they were allegedly invited by one of their colleagues to question the victim (Jason) on issues relating to an apartment in one of the university hostels.
