SP Chike is described as a workaholic
and fine gentle man, very intelligent police officer, even at short notice he
delivers, making sure that the CP press briefing is perfect and well executed, as the Image
maker of the Lagos state police command, Chike has been adjudged as one of the
best police public relation officer,
PPRO, assigned to the Lagos State Police command.
SP Chike Godwin Oti. He hailed from Awka South
Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Oti, who gradudated from Unversity
of Lagos with Bsc (Hons) Business Administration, enlisted into the Nigeria
Police Force and trained as a Cadet Sub- Inspector of Police in May 18, 1992 at
the Nigeria Police Academy, Kano.
He worked at Ops 1 Dept of Operations,
Lagos state Command 2017, Oc Anti fraud Section, Zone 2 CIID, Onikan Lagos
between 2015 -2017, Operations Officer, Dept of Operations, Lagos State Police
Command 2010—2015 and worked as a lecturer at Police College Ikeja between
2006— 2010.
He equally obtained international
experience as a lecturer at National Police Training Academy, Liberia between
2007—2009, under the auspices of the United Nations Peace Keeping Mission in
Liberia.
While at Dops, he wrote a proposal
for the setting up of the Anti Cultism Squad and the Bank Guard Section
dedicated to handle the security of financial institutions in Lagos.
Oti is married and blessed with four children
